Sibelius is the world’s leading score writing package and is the default program in schools and colleges. Pupils with a working knowledge of the program will be at an advantage in the inventing (arranging and composing) component of SQA music exams.

Alan has delivered many In Service/CPD courses for East Lothian and City of Edinburgh councils. Suitable material, exercises etc. from these courses can be made available to students.

He has also used this program to deliver the finished product for “6 Classics For Guitar Ensemble” which was published by Leckie & Leckie.

Cost of tuition £30 per hour or fraction thereof. As extended tuition is unusual, many students prefer to deal in one hour units as this enables them to get off the ground quickly.
